Throughout her career, Andrea has litigated personal injury, medical malpractice, employment, contract, negligence, products liability, construction, fraud, and wage-and-hour matters. Her experience includes complex multi-party litigation, class actions, collective actions, and cases involving sophisticated medical and technical issues. Andrea has guided matters through all stages of litigation, including case evaluation and investigation, discovery, depositions, hearings, inspections, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.

Andrea brings a practical and analytical approach to litigation, working closely with her clients to understand their goals and develop strategies tailored to their individual circumstances. Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants, she brings a well-rounded perspective to each matter and is able to anticipate opposing arguments and effectively advocate for her clients’ interests. Her experience includes defending medical care providers in malpractice matters, including appearances before professional licensing boards, as well as evaluating medical malpractice claims, researching applicable standards of care, reviewing extensive medical records, and preparing pre-lawsuit expert reports. She was recognized by Texas Lawyer for a Top Texas Verdict in the Motor Vehicle category in 2015.

Andrea earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2012, where she was a member of the Order of the Barristers and competed on the Moot Court Team in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition and the Billings, Exum, and Frye Moot Court Competition. She was also active in the Student Bar Association, Hispanic Law Students Association, and Advocates. Prior to attending law school, Andrea earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2002. After earning her degree, she worked as a process engineer. Her engineering background provides her with a unique ability to understand and analyze complex scientific, medical, and technical issues that arise in litigation.

Andrea remains active in her legal and professional community as a Board Member of the Mexican American Bar Association of Houston. She is also passionate about mentoring young women interested in pursuing careers in the legal profession and STEM fields. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys traveling and swimming.
