Hirsch & Westheimer Adds Two Texas Exes to their Roster

Jeffrey A. ShadwickHOUSTON, TXMarch 9, 2021 –Hirsch & Westheimer, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Ingrid Silfvast-Kaiser and Kim Lewinski to the Houston firm.

Ingrid’s practice focuses on real-estate transactions. She concentrates mainly on the acquisition and disposition of office buildings and commercial shopping centers, the commercial development of land, and the leasing of office buildings and retail shopping center spaces, for both landlords and tenants.

Ingrid attained her law degree cum laude from South Texas College of Law Houston, where she served as Articles Editor for the South Texas Law Review. She was a Dean’s Honor List and Presidential Fellow recipient. She also served as a member of the STCL Texas Exes Chapter and Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society. Before law school, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining the firm, Ingrid clerked with Hirsch & Westheimer through the Summer Clerkship Program.

Kim has represented Fortune 500 oilfield services companies and their subsidiaries as creditors in their various vendor bankruptcy filings, both domestic or international, and advised and updated clients on the status of bankruptcy cases with recommendations for potential recovery of debt. Before joining Hirsch & Westheimer, Kim was a litigator at a Commercial Finance Litigation firm. She has represented credit unions in collecting defaulted auto loans, loan agreements, and credit cards. She also assisted mortgage servicers in foreclosing on defaulted mortgages.

Kim earned her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and her bachelor’s from The University of Texas at Austin with honors in Human Development & Family Sciences. She was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2019.
