Michael S. Wilk will be joining Senior Judge Elizabeth Ray on November 14, 2017, in a panel discussion before the Houston Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Section about arbitration, including the procedural steps taken by advocates and the arbitrators, an overview of the initial steps in the arbitration process and the ethical issues raised by conflict disclosures. Michael is a recognized as a leader in ADR, having formerly served as the chairman of the ADR Section for the State Bar of Texas, on the inaugural board of directors of the Association of Attorney Mediators and later as its National Director and National President, as the Director of the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center, and as the Chairman of Peer Mediations and Schools Task Force for the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association ADR Section.
