Amanda Bedford Fox, a native Houstonian, graduated from Trinity University in 1999, having double majored in Political Science and English. She received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2002. Licensed to practice in the State of Texas and in the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern District of Texas, Amanda currently practices in the firm’s litigation section with a focus on commercial disputes. Her experience includes extensive motion practice, oral argument at various hearings, attendance at depositions and mediations, and preparation of appellate briefs. Additionally, she has participated as both first and second chair in trials for individual and corporate clients.
While in law school, Amanda clerked for the Honorable Scott Link in the 80th District Court of Harris County, Texas. She is also a certified mediator and has conducted dozens of mediations in Harris County civil justice courts in areas of consumer, landlord/tenant, personal injury, insurance, and breach of contract matters.
