Ronald J. Stark is a 1970 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. During his long career at Hirsch & Westheimer, where he has practiced since his graduation, Ron has represented clients in all areas of the commercial and residential real estate industry, including the acquisition and development of land; architectural and construction contracts; construction; intermediate term and permanent financing; and acquisition and disposition of improved properties, including shopping centers, apartment projects, office buildings, hotels, industrial warehouses, office/warehouse projects, and mini-warehouse projects.
He has extensive experience in commercial, industrial and retail leasing, sale/leasebacks, shopping center development, ground leases, and build-to-suit transactions, as well as multi-parcel assemblages and condominium development. Specifically related to shopping center development, he negotiates and prepares easement agreements, restrictive covenants and operating agreements, and tax abatement and incentive agreements His expertise further extends to the preparation of management, leasing, commission, listing, and other brokerage agreements. Ron also represents and assists numerous clients in general business and corporate legal transactions.
