William ("Pat") Huttenbach grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, before receiving his B.A. from Rice University in 1992. Pat began law school in 1994 by attending South Texas College of Law, and in his first year, he received the top grade in five of ten classes. In 1996, he clerked for the Honorable Lynn Bradshaw-Hull in the Harris Civil County Court at Law No. 3. Pat graduated from the University of Houston Law Center magna cum laude in 1997. He currently is a litigation attorney concentrating on civil matters at Hirsch & Westheimer, P.C.

For example, Pat helped the United States of America Chess Federation defend against a $25,000,000.00 lawsuit by some board members against other board members for defamation, libel and slander, tortious interference and various other claims.
