Commercial Litigation Attorney
Hirsch & Westheimer, P.C. seeks to immediately hire a Commercial Litigation Attorney.
Requirements:
- Must be licensed in the State of Texas
- Must have at least 5-10 years of experience
- Experience with handling a commercial litigation docket, from answering the lawsuit through trial, in both federal and state courts. Banking Law experience is a plus but is not required.
- Experience taking depositions and attending court hearings is also a plus.
- Strong research and persuasive writing skills are a must, including drafting motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment.
- Graduated from an accredited law school with superior academic performance (at least two of the following: Tier 1 law school, top 25% and/or a journal).

Bankruptcy Attorney
Hirsch & Westheimer, P.C. seeks to immediately hire a Bankruptcy Attorney.
Requirements:
- Must be licensed in the State of Texas and authorized to practice before the bankruptcy courts in the Southern District of Texas
- Must have at least 3-5 years of business bankruptcy experience
- Responsibilities will include making appearances in bankruptcy court, managing bankruptcy matters throughout the state, as well as drafting or reviewing claims, objections, motions, briefs, pleadings, and other documents.
- The position will be representing and counseling creditors and debtors predominately in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy matters
- Experience taking depositions and attending court hearings is required.
- Strong research and persuasive writing skills are a must
- Graduated from an accredited law school with superior academic performance (at least two of the following: Tier 1 law school, top 25% and/or a journal).
